The answer is in the log file:

2007.07.02 05:45:38.791 >cmd 0x01 0c 0f 00 GetSessionChallenge (17) 00
72 6f 62 65 72 74 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

2007.07.02 05:45:38.794 Dropped message not valid session id 1073741909 != 0
!

The RMCP server does not reply to "Get Session Challenge" request with a
null session ID matching the one from the request - see page 211 of IPMI 1.5
specification.

Subject: [Openhpi-devel] libipmidirect plugin question

Hi,

I have the handler libipmidirect in the openhpi.conf file

When I start the openhpid, I see the following messages in the
/var/log/messages file

Jun 29 14:31:33 localhost openhpid: DEBUG: (ipmi.cpp, 293, IpmiOpen)

Jun 29 14:31:48 localhost openhpid: DEBUG: (plugin.c, 636, A handler #2 on
the libipmidirect plugin could not be opened.)

Jun 29 14:31:48 localhost openhpid: DEBUG: (config.c, 767, Couldn't load
handler for plugin libipmidirect)

Jun 29 14:31:48 localhost openhpid: DEBUG: (init.c, 119, *Warning*: Not all
handlers defined loaded. Check previous messages.)

Can some help me understand what the message mean or where I can go for help

Thank you

Robert Lindgren
