I have noticed that Polaris Networks has released an HPI Tester. Any plans on
certifying OpenHPI with this kind of testing? I believe that Polaris also
supplies the test tools for CPTA certification.

The HPI Tester tests the compatibility of a Hardware Platform Interface (HPI)
implementation in conformance with the requirements specified in the Service
Availability(SA) Forum HPI specification.

The main features of the HPI tester are as follows à

* Includes tests for conformance to the HPI-B.02.01 specification.
* Features around 550 API test cases that cover the 79 HPI-B.01.01 API
functions, and 50 ATCA-mapping test cases.
* Includes tests scripted in TCL, a highly flexible scripting language.

* Displays test results in a tabular format and using Message Sequence
Charts.
* Decodes input and output parameters and return values of all API
function calls.
* Generates report in HTML format.
