Thank you. To be exact, My Version is RHEL4 Update 4 (Kernel 2.6.9-42). I am 
willing to upgrade to another download version if that will make my life easier 
(like a Fedora 11). I just don't want to have to install all of these new 
packages.

I have a hpiview package for Fedora/RHEL somewhere on my workstation, so I can 
check whether it still builds and works also on RHEL4.
