I used the RPM binary package installation that was provided by Dan to me on his FTP site for RHEL4. I cannot build the source RPM because I do not have the required packages like GTK+ installed and "configure" does not run successfully. The RPM binary worked for me and I can browse my HPI tree with hpiview.
