Anton --

I have no objections to removing static plug-ins - but please wait for others
(including Mohan) to chime in as well. Thanks.

Subject: [Openhpi-devel] Need to discuss: Static plug-ins in OpenHPI

Hello!

Plug-ins can be compiled statically into OpenHPI daemon instead of separate
dynamic libraries.
You can choose it with ./configure --enable-simulator=static as an example.
For a plug-in to be static it shall provide special get_interface() function.
Currently only ipmi, ipmidirect, simulator and snmp_bc provide it.

Seems that nobody have been using the feature for a long time.

I suggest to remove this functionality.

Any objections?
