Thanks for the response, suppose I call get_sensor_thresholds function of a 
plugin via a client program. If for each of my clients request plugin will 
contact the resource (here fan sensor) via the OA I have configured in Daemon 
configuration file or Daemon will respond to clients request from the 
information Daemon has saved/stored during last discovery.

For every HPI API call you can consult with openhpid/safhpi.c file.
If you see OH_CALL_ABI macro call or call function from handler ABI table,  
then it means the request is passed to plug-in.
The functions that plug-in can support are described in  
include/oh_handler.h
