Hi Elango,
Thanks for response and addition information. To use OPENHPI_DEBUG, I should do
"export OPENHPI_DEBUG" before running Daemon, is this correct and logs will be
shown as Daemon logs. hpibtest, is this a command? I typed hpibtest in one of
xterm window but this did not work, I as ran find in openhpi source code
directory for hpibtest. I had configured openhpi source code using debug option.
Regards,
Preeti

a client's request?

Hi Preeti,
The later is correct, the plugin will give you the information that was
last collected during the latest discovery.

You might be interested:
The OA plugin has very good amount of debug information that may be
helpful to you. Just set the debug (OPENHPI_DEBUG), you should get most
of the debug information from the plugin about the calls made.

You can also make use of hpibtest (you might be using it already?)to run
against the OA plugin. This should give debug info for a particular
test/call when enabled.

Hope this will be of help to you.

Thanks,
Elango
