Hi
the dynamic simulator is similiar to the ipmi direct plugin. Which means: what
works for the ipmi direct plugin should also work for the simulator.
As I already wrote in the past - I see me only as a placeholder for the ipmi
direct plugin until someone else will maintain it. Due to missing test
opportunities I will not fix such issues and I think it is better for the
community that I do it in such a way ;-)
One thing is to have it compile clean - but another to see if the change works
as expected ...
It would be nice if David can merge the fix for the impidirect plugin also in
the
simulator plugin.
And Anton, why should you hear something from me? - Nobody has problems with
the
dynamic simulator and I don't have any time for enhancements ... So enjoy the
time in which is silent from my site ... :-)
Regards
Lars

All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a
definitive record of customers, application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. Business sense. IT sense. Common sense.
