Hi Hemantha,

Any information on the below topic?

Also I have one more question:
We are planning to use iLO2 RIBCL plugin (available with openHPI 2.14.1)
to retrieve HW inventory information from BL460c Gen8 servers. We would
like to know,

        1) If this plugin is supported with BL460c Gen8 servers?
        2) What is the recommended version of openHPI tool to be used
with BL460c Gen8 servers?
        3) Is it possible to retrieve the Rack information using any of
the HP supported OpenHpi plugins?

Regards
Naveen S

Hi Hemantha,

Let me know if that method works so that I can later check whether the
proposed method will be feasible or not
for integrating it into my tool.

Hi Naveen,
OA generates the live events and broadcast to its users, Openhpi can
handle those events and it can push this events to its own event log.
Also OA maintain its own event log that is called OA Syslog. All old
events needs to be taken from OA Syslog only.

I have an idea , That we can get all the OA syslog entries and display
as it is to the client, I have to check this will work or not with
available infrastructure calls.

Thanks& Regards,
Hemantha Reddy

Hi Hemantha,

I have one question, if it is not possible to retrieve the events from
OA then how come
hpievents -t is able to retrieve the live events.

I have this doubt because, finally the event which gets raised will be
part of syslog in OA.

Hi Anton,
I think it is not possible as per Naveen's requirement.
HPI resource event log content format is different from OA syslog
contents.
Thanks& regards,

Hi Hemantha,

Is it theoretically possible that there is a resource that represents OA
syslog as an HPI resource event log?
