To retain all events one shall set OPENHPI_LOG_ON_SEV="ALL_SEVERITIES" in  
openhpi.conf.
By default only events with severity >= MINOR are added to the Domain  
Event Log.

It seems Naveen uses saHpiSubscribe + saHpiEventGet API, not Event Log API.
