Hello Naveen,
Thanks for the Back trace, Looks like this issue is got fixed in later 
releases, openhpi-2.14.1 is too old.
Could you please verify the same scenario with openhpi-3.2.0, if the bug still 
exist, then please file the bug on HP C- class plugin (oa_soap plugin).

Hi Naveen,

Could you please share the /var/log/messages or Back trace or Coredump file, to 
generate coredump file please run this command ulimit -c unlimited and start 
the openhpid.

Hi,

I have installed the below version of openhpi
      openhpi-2.14.1-3.el6.x86_64

and very often I see the openhpid not running with below error
service openhpid status
openhpid dead but pid file exist

Please let me know the reason for openhpid being dead and also the way to debug 
this problem.
