It's able to choose SGID and/or DGID as explicit GIDs, GIDs from same node or GIDs from same system, request multiple SGID/DGID pairs in one request, and request varying path independence (as fault tolerant as possible or not).
I see where a MultiPathRecord contains a path independence field. But since it only provides a single value for all other PathRecord fields for all SGID/DGID pairs, it seems less flexible than PathRecords. It's also missing LID information, and limits the number of DGIDs to 255.
What I'm not understanding is how I can replace PathRecords with MultiPathRecords or how to make full use of MultiPathRecords.
