I agree that is a reasonable approach, for the OP to allow mapping of standard attributes to local aliases.
There needs to be a schema dictionary someplace so that the RP can map what it wants to the discovered information. I don't think that wanting that should stop us from making incremental progress on interoperability before we get AX 1.1. What we can do now is advertise the attributes in the XRDS and support a common set of aliases for the SREG attributes. That could be done by consensus and doesn't require AX 1.1. John B.
