I'll bite. What do you take from Scheiner's republishing of the first
half of http://politics.theatlantic.com/2009/12/whenever_i_write_about_the.php ?

By "perspective" do you mean the suggestion that all information systems are
at risk, and therefore even if we completely trust Google, Facebook, et. al.
to do nothing evil willfully, we should still be more protective of our 
information, as those entities could be compromised by parties who ARE evil? 

Or something else?
