Check for small things like USB-3.0 detection in BIOS and video.

Is there maybe a problem how grub was compiled on that CD ? The Dell T3600 has a E5-1650 Xeon processor (see my previous thread <http://openindiana.org/pipermail/openindiana-discuss/2012-October/010045.html> where I concluded from that this processor would be no problem for OI). I tried to boot both the 32 and 64 bit kernel/boot_archive, same problem, stalls at the 10th or 11th dot (the uncompressing stage). No usable error message. Is there some compile option that does not work on that processor ? _______________________________________________ OpenIndiana-discuss mailing list OpenIndiana-discuss@openindiana.org http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss _______________________________________________ OpenIndiana-discuss mailing list OpenIndiana-discuss@openindiana.org http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss
