At that point, OI doesn't see the real disks, so no configuration and no possible issues (other than unforeseen surprises in the VBox guest additions).
Still, why OI if you can't benefit from ZFS? Bryan Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone. One other aspect that has occurred to me after seeing the responses: This maybe a vbox vm hosted on a windows 7 host (2x xeon HP xw8600 Workstation). (I haven't decided yet whether to dedicate that hardware to a real install of oi or leave it as I bought it with OS windows7 and go the vm route) And in that case it would be virtual drives being created on SSD hardware. Will that setup be likely to be more problematic than a non-virtual install of oi on that hardware? _______________________________________________ openindiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss _______________________________________________ openindiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss
