Yes, please send them.  It doesn't do anyone any good to have two
drivers floating around.  I'll certainly consider the changes
(especially stability fixes).

I need to move the v39.1 changes that make sense to 2.4, so this is a
good time to talk about it.

I had previously abandoned the 2.4 driver, but apparently there is still
some demand for it so it is now back under maintenance.  It has been
rejected from the 2.4 kernel proper, though, so it will always be a patch.
