It probably doesn't mean what you think it means; that's a specific type 
of sensor.  Basic sensors will work, but you have to hand-create SDR 
entries for them and control all the nitty-gritty details about them.

The simulator doesn't provide LAN configuration or many of the fancier 
management controller capabilities.  It provides:

    Basic MC support
    FRU data
    SDR repositories (both main and device)
    System Event Log
    Sensors (both discrete and threshold) including setting values and
    generating events.
    Some chassis support (like setting the power/reset status)
    ATCA hot-swap
    ATCA address info
    ATCA LEDs.

I think that's about it.
