Per OpenIPMI documentation it appears that the OpenIPMI framework/library
is for developing IPMI software for the "Management System". Management
system being either of an out-of-band linux system or the local host
operating system.
Questions:
1) Is this the right definition/scope for OpenIPMI ?
2) What is the purpose of the "lanserv" implementation in OpenIPMI ?
My requirement is to build an IPMI service *on the bmc*. Is OpenIPMI fit
for this purpose ? Pointers to alternate projects for this purpose would be
useful too.
