Hello, I was able to fix the exception by moving the creation of the root Pane of the child Stage somewhere else, though I don't understand why this change make it work.
I am still trying to have a simple test case which expose the problem, as soon as I am able to have it (for now my example sadly work ok), I will created a JIRA with the source code.
