Based on my testing of this, I very much doubt anything in macOS has changed in a way to affect this. I strongly suspect that it may have (accidentally) worked prior to JDK 22 / JavaFX 22 when we fixed the bug where AWT was taking over the NSApplicationDelegate even if it was embedded in JavaFX.
