Hello all. I'm looking into having wms and Google overlayed, and after spending some time with this, I'm wondering why is 'reproject' deprecated?
Is there any way we can overlay with google those wms services that don't implement web mercator, and only implement WGS84? I ended up overriding getURL to change the bounds from 900913 to 4326, and also set SRS to 4326. The resulting wms tiles are a bit degraded, but I can't see no other option. Any insights are very welcome and appreciated. I also looked into having a map on wgs84, and using google v2. This in fact seems to work very well. But v2 is going away... Regards. Duarte
