Okay, so your map projection is actually EPSG:900913 (spherical mercator).
The displayProjection just shows the coordinates on the map as EPSG:4326.
Since your Geomedia coordinates are in EPSG:4326, you can easily transform
them to match your spherical mercator map projection (and make your zoom
function work).

Try this:
var store = new Ext.data.SimpleStore({
            fields: ['value', 'text', 'bbox'],
            data : [
            ['43R', '43 Reichley Street', new
OpenLayers.Bounds(-113.785710899444,52.2419398632189
-113.785587318901,52.2419595995343).transform(new
OpenLayers.Projection("EPSG:4326"), new
OpenLayers.Projection("EPSG:900913"))]]   //these coordinates don't work
they are way off my map

        });
