Hi Stefanie,

you would use an OpenLayers.Layer.Vector with a OpenLayers.Protocol.WFS 
properly configured for your Mapserver WFS (featureType and featureNS). You can 
combine this e.g. with a BBOX Strategy, so that is retrieved when the map 
extent changes.
