Dear Users, I have a quite well working openlayers webmapping application..
the only problem is that recently I had to create a secured access (login+password) to the geoserver wms layers which I'm using inside the OpenLayers application.. I have no problems loading maps, because when I switch on the first map a pop-up appears asking for a login and password.. and this is normal.. my problem is with the geatfetureinfo requests it seams that the proxy.cgi doesn't allow me to pass the request to geoserver I'm using tha standard proxy.cgi file (modified with my allowedhost) which is available in the openlayers wiki. probably I need to modify this file but I don't know how.. can someone give me some help/suggestion? many thanks...
