Daniel,
Are you using the Drupal OpenLayers module or are you embedding
OpenLayers inside of Drupal? It's not clear from your question, and it
of course affects how OL is handled by Drupal.

I'd then start with the basic tests, like after render everything
events, chekc to see, if there are js errors, if OpenLayers.js is
loaded at all, then maybe add an eventlistener to the map like
"*addlayer*" then see what happens when you add a layer. stuff like these

hi
I have a very simple openlayers page (create a map, create a layer wfs,
add the layer to the map and zoomToMaxExtent. The basic "helloworld" stuff!)
But the map is not displaying :(
The only special thing about this is that I'm trying to do it inside a
Drupal site... So I think some of the drupal javascript must be
interfering with openlayers stuff...
I found that only part of the features are being loaded into the layer,
then for some reason openlayers stops processing it...
So, if someone has an idea about this, please tell.
(Or, maybe I should try to debug openlayers code... Any hint on how to
do that?)
