can you describe the exact behavior you are trying to acheive while
using the measure tool and switching to drag?

I've followed this thread since the measure control
(http://dev.openlayers.org/releases/OpenLayers-2.10/examples/measure.html)
also snatches the drag events when in measure mode. IMO it should be
possible to drag even then. Does anybody know how to apply these
statements to the measure sample?
