Hi at all, i have a strange problem with OpenLayers 2.9.1: i have a unique background-image layer and a 1 feature layer. In the feature layer i have 175 square (not so much i think). Each square have a label. The problem is: all is really really slow (also in moderns machine). 'Label' is not the problem: i have tried to remove label from the context/style and nothing change. Another test: optimized the OpenLayer library via the 'OpenLayers minimizer': http://openlayerer.appspot.com/
Other performance issue: OverviewMap Control: it's 'insane' slowly because (for the something that i understand about it) it clone the entire layer and all of features inside it.
