Thanks Phil for you reply but it's not a server problem xD I load all features at the beginning, that's also slow but that really don't border me because it's just happen once, the problem comes everytime I'm dragging my map.
I have a lots of complex features, every feature has 2 images and text but it's make the dragging too slow so I decided to blend images (now I have more combinations but I left backgroundImage). Also, I'm showing text from a different layer with a specific zoom. I'm going to explain that better: - I have 3 layers, 1 for the map (map), 1 for features base information (vector1) and 1 for features additional infomation (vector2). - And 8 zoom levels. Map and vector1 are always visible. Every features in vector1 have an image and a popup. vector2 is visible just with big zoom areas, I'm not loading it when I have lots of features in the viewport. With that I quite improved the speed so now you could think about more than 500 features xD What do you think about my current solution? -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/How-can-I-speed-up-OL-features-rendering-with-SVG2-tp6725236p6741869.html Sent from the OpenLayers Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users
