Thank you Christian for the enlightenment. I will check those projects and extract a detailed comparison.
At a first sight, Plone is based on Python. GeoNode is based on Java. CartoDB is limited on Free Plan. MapIgniter is based on PHP, Open Source, tight integrated with MapServer (MapServer GUI) but not limited to 1 data source. It also has all Postgis potential as described in the projects above. As you can see, it is different in technologies, which may benefit developers that use MapServer and PHP that are outnumbered :) Marco -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/MapIgniter-Project-tp4991898p4992104.html Sent from the OpenLayers Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users
