Hmmm...now I am even more confused! Those 'road squares' containing and around that plotted circle are supposed to be 1 mile per side, and the circle is not as large as they are. I first noticed this when I plotted the circle in a view of my own home town -- where I knew the distances better -- but the example plot shows it just as well.
The other indirect evidence that I was using was that the same circles plotted in Google maps were larger i.e. not the same. Perhaps I am making some sort of very silly mistake...? -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/createRegularPolygon-circle-radius-units-tp5000250p5000269.html Sent from the OpenLayers Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users
