It appears you need to create the policies OU first, before you can create the 
default CN under it.

Hi,

we are using openldap on redhat EL6 with postfix and JAMM schema. I wantto 
activate password policy for ldap but

i cannot add default password schema ,

i try to apply step that tells on 
http://www.zytrax.com/books/ldap/ch6/ppolicy.html

but i cannot add dn: cn=default,ou=policies,dc=myhosting,dc=example class,
it gives

ldap_bind: Invalid DN syntax (34)
        additional info: invalid DN
error.

what is the  problem ?
