New issue 1467 by [email protected]: Red5 v0.7.0 & Red5 v1.0.0 RC1 &
OpenMeetings v1.7.0 r3822 => BIG PROBLEM...
http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/issues/detail?id=1467
Despite many trials and errors, I still cannot get OpenMeetings v1.7.0
r3822 running.
Installed OS and dependencies:
1.) Windows 2008 R2 x64 with SP1 (granted all rights and turned off
firewall)
2.) Installed JAVA SDK v6 Update 27 (x32)
3.) Installed GhostScript v9.04
4.) Installed Image Magick
5.) Installed FFMPEG
6.) Installed OpenOffice v3.3
7.) Installed XAMPP v1.7.4 V6
8.) Installed Red5 v0.7.0
9.) Set Environment Variables:
JAVA_HOME = C:\JAVA\jdk1.6.0_27
RED5_HOME = C:\Red5
Path = C:\JAVA\jdk1.6.0_27\bin
Did the basic web browser test:
1.) http://localhost/xampp = works
2.) http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ = works
3.) http://localhost:5080 = Red5 Test Page = works
Used http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ to create a new database
called "openmeetings" with collation UTF8 specification.
Extracted the OpenMeetings v1.7.0 r3822 package, then copied
the "openmeetings" folder into C:\Red5\webapps folder and modified the
configuration files accordingly to mysql that came with XAMPP.
Tried to access http://localhost:5080/openmeetings/install = does not work.
Get HTTP Error:503
What's really interesting...if I uninstall Red5 v0.70 and install Red5
v1.0.0 RC1, I can get to http://localhost:5080/openmeetings/install no
problem.
BUT, after clicking on "Continue with STEP 1", fill out all the
information, and click on "INSTALL"... it just sits there forever.
Go to C:\Red5\logs and see a HUGE red5.log...too big to load up here.
Has anyone experienced the same problem??? I know I am following the
instructions correctly.
