Hi I removed the version of ffmpeg that I installed manually following the next guide http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=9868359&postcount=1289
Then I installed the version of ffmpeg from the repositories. After this the playing of the videoclips is working. My new version of ffmpeg: FFmpeg version SVN-r0.5.1-4:0.5.1-1ubuntu1.2, Copyright (c) 2000-2009 Fabrice Bellard, et al. configuration: --extra-version=4:0.5.1-1ubuntu1.2 --prefix=/usr -- enable-avfilter --enable-avfilter-lavf --enable-vdpau --enable-bzlib -- enable-libgsm --enable-libschroedinger --enable-libspeex --enable- libtheora --enable-libvorbis --enable-pthreads --enable-zlib --disable- stripping --disable-vhook --enable-runtime-cpudetect --enable-gpl -- enable-postproc --enable-swscale --enable-x11grab --enable-libdc1394 -- enable-shared --disable-static libavutil 49.15. 0 / 49.15. 0 libavcodec 52.20. 1 / 52.20. 1 libavformat 52.31. 0 / 52.31. 0 libavdevice 52. 1. 0 / 52. 1. 0 libavfilter 0. 4. 0 / 0. 4. 0 libswscale 0. 7. 1 / 0. 7. 1 libpostproc 51. 2. 0 / 51. 2. 0 built on Sep 16 2011 17:04:18, gcc: 4.4.3 Thanks, Juan Carlos On 26 sep, 10:56, JC <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi > > I upgraded to version 1.8.2 and still has the same problem. > > In red5.log appears: > > INFO o.r.server.stream.ProviderService - File was null or did not > exist: UPLOADFLV_3.flv > > It seems that ffmpeg is correctly installed: > ffmpeg version N-32423-ged14517, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg > developers > built on Sep 9 2011 10:32:39 with gcc 4.4.3 > configuration: --enable-gpl --enable-version3 --enable-nonfree -- > enable-postproc --enable-libfaac --enable-libopencore-amrnb --enable- > libopencore-amrwb --enable-libtheora --enable-libvorbis --enable- > libx264 --enable-libxvid --enable-x11grab > libavutil 51. 16. 0 / 51. 16. 0 > libavcodec 53. 13. 0 / 53. 13. 0 > libavformat 53. 12. 0 / 53. 12. 0 > libavdevice 53. 3. 0 / 53. 3. 0 > libavfilter 2. 39. 0 / 2. 39. 0 > libswscale 2. 1. 0 / 2. 1. 0 > libpostproc 51. 2. 0 / 51. 2. 0 > Hyper fast Audio and Video encoder > usage: ffmpeg [options] [[infile options] -i infile]... {[outfile > options] outfile}... > > What else can I check? > > Thanks, > > Juan Carlos > > On 24 sep, 04:01, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > > > > > > > I was not able to reproduce your issue. > > Maybe you did not install FFMPEG correctly.
