I just have to investigate optimizing qemu a bit, as the response is a bit sluggish, but useable with keyboard navigation (arrows tab enter) - the mouse was not usable for me. After killing x, and changing the screen rotation, startx wouldn't start x again, but after a reboot all was ok. I was really glad to see this is a real Linux environment, with all the usual tools and stuff, cool.
