After experiencing and reading about the problems with charging (http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=212) I am beginning to wonder if it would be a good idea to add a charging LED at some point. Most phones show some kind of indication when charging, and a small LED would mean you don't have the device in a running state for it to show the charging status and it only draws a small amount of current. I'm not convinced that using the backlight as an indication is the right thing to do in this case. Obviously I realise "just adding a charging LED" is not an easy task at this point but I think it's worth considering for the future. Cheers, Paul
