Also, looks like you are storing here in PCM format. (Huge Size and not compressed). What you do to write it compressed in any available existing format such as mp3,wav,gsm,g729 etc., ? Can It record while I talk to other party ? Asterisk can do ! can the /dev/dsp can be shared among applications? so that you can talk and simultaneously record. Recording of a call, not a voicemail.
