Salve Kannaiyan! I regret having written that I think asterisk will be able to run on the Neo1973: I thougt letting it run "just for fun", for getting creative ideas for development and to make the Neo1973 populare at asterisk people (hope to get some input from them).

IMHO it wouldn`t worth to try to optimize asterisk for low battery use - maybe only for some people to let asterisk run without being battery powered as portable PBX with included PBX.... Beside that, designing OpenMoko to play very well together with an asterisk server (some where else, but not on the Neo) would be of course interesting. So in case that I raised hope that you could use asterisk on the neo with one battery charge for several hours/days... sorry.
