The SMedia web site states that there is an OpenGL hardware API, so this would be the most desirable thing to have. I don't have the time nor am I that industrious. :)

smedia does not have any gl library. they do have wince direct3d code.

can't be released - we only have access to read it for reference. specs
for the
smedia chip need an nda. :( no work is being done on opengl.
