Is is possible to add support both both, e.g. with a #ifdef? And both
being ABI-compatible?
I don't want to be force to upgrade to a recent libusb version to be
able to use the current libopenobex.

What about libusb-win32? Current release is ported from libusb-0.1.8.
I should check if the Windows port can use native windows functions.
