It does now (just pushed a fix for it). I didn't realize this feature was missing since it's available in the other projects I use (bluez, obexd, etc). > It's useless, anyway. Same for bootstrap. They're there for developers. Maybe for a small set of possible config options the added value is not so much, but as the number of options grows it's convenient to have a shortcut which enables the maximum amount of code to be compiled in order to catch any compilation warnings and errors. Particularly the --enable-maintainer-mode in bootstrap-configure is important as it enables all sorts of extra compilation checks. As a general rule, if a patch doesn't compile with bootstrap-configure it wont get pushed upstream.
