Hi! I'm running openocd (svn) with a J-Link EDU interface to program and debug a STM32Lxxx. When connecting gdb to the openocd gdbserver I receive: "Remote 'g' packet reply is too long: ....."
Found that post on stackoverflow, where the author suggests a solution: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7053067/arm-none-eabi-gdb-and-openocd- malformed-response-to-offset-query-qoffsets/7661508#7661508 Tried it too and it seems to do it - gdb can connect now. So openocd should somehow check the version of the connected gdb to send the right registers I think. I'm using gdb 7.3.1 (arm-none-eabi) Regards, Reinhard Biegel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ridiculously easy VDI.
