I really do not want to confuse you. Sorry if this is the case with my
last message.
My last message was more as a Tips for you. In fact, it will be much
more attractive for your Andes'customers if you use the low level jtag
api of openocd. First, this will mean your customers will be able to use
low-cost jtag dongles for basic tasks ( A real advantage for your
products and your company ). Then for advance and certainly more
efficient download speeds ... your customers will use a specific dongle
(your ice box).
If your new specific architecture comes with new specific gdb
integration, with new debug supporting only ONE new ice box, so I am not
sure about the benefice of integrating all of this in openocd.
PS: I really think Peter is allergic to Laurent's message :-)
