I think it is vastly better to not have any reply at all than to
have an incorrect one.

It's your responsibility as poster to export correctly from your
brain. If you don't do that then you're part of the problem, rather
than the solution. :\

I know that you can avoid it, so please always do. A smiley isn't a
good substitute.

It's perfectly fine not to reply to every single email even when you
have the info in your brain. Someone else who has the same info in
their brain may be able to export more correctly, even if not quite
as soon.
