Hi,

I am a bit frustrated with the gerrit login procedure.

I created an account with MyOpenID back when gerrit was introduced. However,
that service is due to be turned of in february, so I looked for
alternatives.

I tried creating a yahoo account, but on their site, not even logging in
with firefox works reliably.

I could login into gerrit using an old google account which I keep for
special purposes, but never use daily. However, when I tried to register my
"real" email address in gerrit, it tells me that address is in use by
another account.
Furthermore, I notice that after logging into gerrit, I have google cookies
set that track me whereever else I use the browser - this is unacceptable
for me.

So: what possibilities are there that allow me to login to gerrit without
being tracked by Google, Yahoo & Co? I looked at free OpenID providers and
found none that look OK from a privacy standpoint, but I am open for
suggestions.

cu
Michael
