Hello and thanks for the reply.

I already fixed it. It seems that I messed it up with the CPU clock settings 
and that stopped the execution of the code.

Reseting or trying to connect to the device while pressing the reset button 
didn't help either, instead I had to set to low one of the pins so that the 
CPU didn't execute user code when the bootloader finished loading.
That way I could access the device via JTAG and upload the fixed code.

Sorry for the trouble, I had some problems with my email client while 
responding to Paul Fertser and the conversation didn't end up in this list (I 
think the emails are in the OpenOCD-user list).

Thanks again, you guys where really helpful. This problem was driving me crazy 
and I couldn't find any information.
