Hello, We are planning to produce the first release candidate for the upcoming 0.9.0 version really soon (as time permits, likely the next weekend).
The changes that are not yet merged but will hopefully be merged can be seen on [1]. If something important is missing, please speak up now, until it's too late, since after tagging rc1 the focus will be shifted towards fixing bugs and regressions, and review for the new features and other substantial changes will be postponed. If you submitted a patch but it's not getting prompt review, and you think it's important to merge it before the release, please do not hesitate to ask for it loudly.
