This actually "on topic" if you ask me. There is also the subject of a
"contributors agreement" Our legal department asked me if one existed - along
with hundred other questions.
But to your point:
One of the many problems with a "license change" would be contacting and
getting various pervious contributors to agree, that list is long. Sadly, in
some cases we must legally deal with the "estate of a contributor" - David
Brownell was a great contributor and is greatly missed.
