Hello, as the STM32F7 discovery boards are now available, openocd STM32F7 support would come handy. However I found the present status to be: - I need the 3 pending patches about STM32F7 from Remi Prud'Homme - I need the abandoned patch from Remi "cortex_m: Add flash breakpoint support for Cortex-M7" - I need some glue to integrate the patches in src/flash/nor/Makefile.am | 1 + src/flash/nor/drivers.c | 2 ++
With these changes, and the normal change for STM32 to enable low-power and sleep debug, I am able to flash the STM32F7 and breakpoints are "somehow" usable. After hitting a breakpoint and when single line stepping, often some, unrelated source line is printed and no advance in the source line display happens. The unrelated source line is always the same and is some IRQ routine. The openocd display however indicates an advance in the program counter. Are there more STM32 patches pending? What was the reason about the abandonded STM32F7 breakpoint patch?
