Hi Paul, Finally, the long waited release cycle is starting ... I will be glad to help on this, by reviewing, testing and fixing if possible.

And maybe postpone (after the release) the flash/stm32l4x WRP enhancement to lighten the content to review. > To distro maintainers: if you think we can make your lifes easier, please > tell us how (other than producing the releases more often and regularly), we > aim for the build process to be as easy as possible for everybody. I guess it would be helpful to enrich/maintain the contrib/cross-build.sh to be the reference for building openocd. >From my side I added a reference example working on github to build for >windows using this cross-build.sh And I would like if possible the keep this script updated whenever a new dependency is added, like adding the capstone library to this script. If everything goes according to the plan, the first release candidate will be tagged in about three weeks. After that we aim to concentrate on fixing whatever would need to get fixed, so do not expect new features to get merged during the RC stages (but they still might be reviewed). When all the known problems are taken care of, we'll tag the second release candidate, and this process should be repeated for as long as there're issues to solve. If we are lucky, the final version will be ready by the end of December. So if you have some particular changes you want to see included please speak up now, and help with testing and reviewing. If you have any issues with Gerrit or other development infrastructure components, please feel free to contact me on IRC or by e-mail. To distro maintainers: if you think we can make your lifes easier, please tell us how (other than producing the releases more often and regularly), we aim for the build process to be as easy as possible for everybody.
